United We Change the World

Since its inception in 2009, the Nubian Cultural Center has brought together people of diverse backgrounds, representing a diverse array of ethnic and racial communities through seminars and the arts.  We conduct our activities with the resolve and intent to embrace the unity that we experience through our shared activities.

Race to Harmony

Race to Harmony is the core program of The Nubian Cultural Center for Research & Development, inviting you to join our enriching programs of direct cultural exchange through workshops, discussions and cultural events. We are excited to embark on this journey of cultural exchange and community building with you. We spotlight specific issues effecting the community, such as religious freedoms, law enforcement and community interactions, immigration, etc., and explore it through expert talks and collaborative discussions. Join us in-person or via Zoom seminars, think tanks and roundtables to develop potential solutions to these issues. We encourage you to participate and share your perspectives. Be part of meaningful discussions and contribute impactful solutions.

The Ruth E. Mills  Scholarship Fund

Estabilished in memory of Ruth Mills, a youth advocate, grants scholarships to women who are facing financially hardships but dream of pursuing higher education. The Fund reaches into the community to empower deserving individuals facing challenges. Ruth Mills' dedication to empowering youth has  inspired many, and through this scholarship, we continue her mission. We encourage you to share this information with potential candidates or support the fund to make a positive impact in the community.
